The goals of an institution and those of the community in which it resides are like the poles of a magnet: they often repel, but occasionally they attract. The Williams Village at the University of Colorado - Boulder has experience both forces. The presentation examines (1) the forces that once separated the parties and the ones that now unite them, (2) the master plan guiding the development of this mixed-use project, and (3) the implementation strategy to ensure eventual success for all stakeholders.
