Penn State Selects Anderson Strickler for Student Housing Alternatives Study
The Pennsylvania State University has selected Anderson Strickler to develop a student housing alternatives plan at 19 campuses throughout the Commonwealth.
Anderson Strickler is researching each campus to determine where additional housing is appropriate and the type of housing that best meets the strategic plan of the campus. This includes analyzing the availability of on-campus and off-campus housing, demographic and economic trends in the region, the capacity of existing student services, and options for design, construction, and management of on- or off-campus housing.
Established in 1855, Penn State is a major research institution enrolling over 86,000 students in a broad range of academic programs. The housing alternatives plan underway is designed to assist the University in expanding services at its campuses so they may aggressively recruit the best students in Pennsylvania and from out of state.
